Temperature resistant 550 ℃ magnets
Temperature resistant 550 ℃ magnets are mainly divided into two series: 1:5 type (High-temperature resistant5) and 2:17 type (Second generation rare earth magnets). Sintered Temperature resistant 550 ℃ magnets are brittle and fragile, and cannot be machined using traditional methods; instead, grinding wheels with a high content of diamond must be used, along with water or oil for cooling. Performance: The Curie temperature of Cobalt magnet can reach 710-880°C, and the highest operating temperature can reach 250-350°C, which is higher than the 230°C maximum operating temperature of neodymium-iron-boron; Cobalt magnet has better corrosion resistance compared to neodymium-iron-boron; when the operating temperature is above 150°C, Cobalt magnet has lower magnetic flux loss compared to neodymium-iron-boron; the 1:5 type Cobalt magnet (High-temperature resistant5).

Surface Treatment

The corrosion resistance of High-temperature resistant is considered good while that of NdFeB is considered poor. Coatings for corrosion resistance are therefore not generally required for High-temperature resistant magnets. We also can offer coatings such as Ni, Zn, or Epoxy if they are used in corrosive environment.

Temperature Characteristics

High-temperature resistant magnets can operate at temperatures up to 350°C, depending upon the grade and permeance coefficient. Second generation rare earth magnets materials exhibit superior temperature characteristics as compared to the Cobalt magnet types. High-temperature resistant magnets have extremely resistant to demagnetization, and good temperature stability (maximum use temperatures between 250 °C and 550 °C).
